Blackstone has two tasting rooms and the one I visited is right off the 101 Fwy south of Monterey. You can see the Winery from the Fwy and you exit just after you pass it. You then have to go left across the Fwy and go about a half a mile, take a left and then backtrack down a back road to get there. I bring this up because it can be difficult to find. The tasting room is very nice and the people are friendly and helpful. They have a variety of wines and their California Merlot is the number one selling domestic red wine in the U.S. If you’re driving up to Monterey it’s a nice place to stop and relax.
